UPVC windows and doors have double or triple glazed, manufactured in one of the most modern and automated window factories in Europe. Wohnraum UPVC windows & doors use insulated Double glazing (Low-E & Argon) as standard. Low-E glass has a microscopically thin, transparent coating that reflects the unwanted spectrum of the sunlight but allows useful visible light to enter. This protects from unwanted heat and glare but ensures natural colors and a friendly and comfortable environment.



BENEFIT OF UPVC WINDOW:
  • SECURITY
UPVC is an ultra-light but sturdy material that can be equipped with various types of multi-locking systems. The combination with double or triple glazing also lowers the risk of intruders to break in.

  • SOUNDPROOF
The UPVC profiles with two or three seals work in combination with the double glazed window panels to decrease the amount of noise that can pass into your home. WOHNRAUM UPVC windows and doors can reduce external noise by up 45dB, depending on the glass specification and surrounding building materials.

  • LOW-E GLAZING
WOHNRAUM UPVC windows always come with insulated Low-E double or triple glazing. The Low-E coating, a metallic coating on the inside of the glazing unit, has the ability to keep the temperature of the surface of the glass facing the interior very near to that of the room itself, regardless of outside temperature. Low-E glazing also reduces color fading of interiors like furniture and flooring.

  • COMFORT
The combination of energy efficiency and soundproofing provides a better room climate that can be enjoyed every time of the day at any day of the year. Air-conditioning can be reduced while the room temperature stays evenly throughout.

  • DURABILITY
The material is incredibly tough and can cope against the most extreme elements and are not affected by rot and corrosion. It is protected against ultraviolet (UV) rays to prevent the material from fading in prolonged sun and it can be used in tropical climate and locations near the seaside with high salt content.
