Lanotec – Timber Seal Plus
Timber Seal Plus is a natural, non-toxic and
non-carcinogenic, low VOC finishing and penetrating sealer for bamboo. It
enhances the grain and bamboo color to give a natural looking non glossy matt finish that greatly reduces spore "Graying" and
will prevent mould growth.
The treated surface is waterproof, UV stable and water insoluble. Timber Seal Plus has been formulated, laboratory and field tested to be compatible with, and enhance the normal weathering and stain proof qualities of bamboo. It does this by aiding the natural waxes and esters found in all species of bamboo, these substances resist spitting and drying out.

Preparation before applying
Untreated timber must be treated against mould and/or fungus spores. The timber must be fully cured and the surface must be clean, dry and dust free.
Application Guide
Timber Seal Plus can be applied by dipping, spraying, brushing or rolling. Apply light multiple coats, rather than one heavy coat for maximum penetration. Two light coats giving the surface all it will absorb should be applied at 4‐6 hour intervals. This drying time is the dependent on surface drying conditions and is the recommended minimum.

1 liter for approximately 10 m2 will include 2 coats
Storage, Handling and Transport
This product should be stored in a cool and dry environment. All products are unrated non‐hazardous and non‐flammable goods for storage on air, road or sea transportation.
